Yesterday was my birthday.  I took the day off from work and enjoyed just being home with my husband.  Here is one thing I accomplished today.  Planting flowers.  I think they turned out beautiful. 

I always have to have just a few annuals for the porch.

    I loved the comment you left for her regarding your daughter and dance. I too have a little one in dance. Mary Catherine started also at age 3, but is only going to turn 7 in August. So we have a way to go before pointe shoes, which is her goal...not mine! She absolutely loves ballet.

    BTW, imagine my surprise when I saw on your profile that you live in a small town in KS. Me too!

    And, the flowers are beautiful. I would love to have that talent of arranging potted flowers. And, it IS a talent! Can you tell me what the orange flower is on the top picture?
