Hard Working Man

My husband has just been working so hard.  He has been working overtime at his day job and then he was home for about 30 minutes last night ate dinner quickly and was off to umpire some games.  I feel so bad that he has to work so hard and he never ever complains about it.  I do my best to be a good wife.  I try to have dinner ready for him, give him down time when he has the time and just try to make sure he is happy.  But I still just feel so bad and feel like I don't do enough.  He says I do more than enough.  Do other wives feel this way?  What little things do you do for your husband?

  1. I feel the same as you do. My husbands works very hard at a cheese factory and I stay at home (I do work at home)I like to do special little things he doesn't expect like write a little note and put it in his lunch box, make his favorite dessert like fresh rhubarb pie, serve him hot coffee and toast in bed sometimes in the morning when I wake him up for the day. (he loves to visit and talk over coffee.) Even at that I think I should do more for him because he works so hard and has always taken such good care of me. (We have been married for 40 years)
What would we do without our husbands?
I know I feel so blessed to have him for my own. :D

  2. 1. make him laugh
    2. keep his laundry done and ready
    3. compliment him
    4. be his cheerleader

  3. I like what Lily said!I try to send my Husband a message throughout the day .Something to lift him up!Blessings Marla
